After the death of 10 children of parents warn about the dangers of cribs popular company

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) encourages parents to stop using Fisher-Price Rock 'N Play Sleeper cots from the moment they learn to roll over. The warning was issued after the death of 10 children for 4 of the year. The company blames the parents.
According to the CPSC warning issued on April 5, in all 10 cases, the children were older than three months and already knew how to roll from back to side, writes Fatherly. Fisher-Price claims that the bed meets all safety standards, and that the problem is not in the product itself, but in the way people use it.
"Reported deaths show that some consumers continue to use the product when babies are able to roll over and are not using the three-point seat belt," the manufacturer said. They explain that Rock 'N Play Sleeper is only for babies under three months old. The most recent death was recorded last month.
CPSC also reminds parents of the importance of creating a safe sleep environment for babies.
“Never use or place blankets, pillows, stuffed animals or other objects nearby, and always put children on their backs to sleep,” experts warn.
This is not the first time the Fisher-Price product has been criticized. Some doctors, including pediatrician Natasha Burgert, warn: it may be dangerous to leave children in beds like Rock 'N Play for a long period of time.
“The American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for the prevention of SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) are to place the baby on a firm surface to sleep without additional cushions, pillows or loose objects,” Burgert writes on his blog. "Rock and Play Sleeper doesn't follow these rules."
