Something similar almost happened to a couple from Las Vegas.
Eshtin Zamora and Cody Boiles bought tickets for the concert - the same ill-fated concert in which a crazy shooter from the nearest hotel killed at least 59 people and injured another half thousand. But the evening before the event, both felt too tired, so they almost changed their minds. During the discussion, they decided to flip a coin so that everything would decide the case.
And the case decided - fate decreed that they went to the concert, not even knowing what nightmare they would be at the epicenter. Fortunately, Eshtin and Cody were not affected. Moreover, they began to actively help the wounded and, quite possibly, saved several lives. As acknowledged by the couple, five of the wounded died on their hands.
Zamora wrote on her Facebook: “I turned on the“ ambulance mode ”and helped the doctors to distribute the victims according to the nature of the injuries, and Cody was with me all the time. He held people by the hands and feet while I bandaged them, tried to calm the victims, and directed the cars. He literally gave the last shirt so I could put a tourniquet on one of the men's leg ... it was the worst day of my life, but I'm happy we were there and could help. I don’t know how we managed not to get hurt, but I know we were both incredibly lucky. ”
