He was an incomparably bright star - which is probably why he burned out so early. He was subject to both comedic and dramatic roles. He sang and danced beautifully. He was not handsome, but was considered unconditionally, he fell in love with women, left and right, while remaining a good son and a wonderful father. March 7, Andrei Mironov could have turned 79, but 46 will remain forever, writes lady.tut.by.
He was born on the eve of International Women's Day - March 7, 1941 in Moscow. Parents - famous pop artists Alexander Menaker and Maria Mironova - indicated in their official documents the date of birth a day later.
The birth of the son was preceded by a tour romance: Andrey's parents had their own families, but the trip to performances in Rostov-on-Don changed the situation. Menaker and Mironova immediately divorced and got married.
If they say about someone that he was born for the stage, then about Andrei Mironov it is quite possible to say: he was born for the stage and on stage. Fights with Maria Vladimirovna began right during the performance.
After a couple of months, war broke out. Parents, together with the theater and the infant Andryusha, left for evacuation to Tashkent. There they survived the war years, and then returned to Moscow. Andrey went to school. True, he was recorded there as Mironov, and not Menaker. The notorious “doctors’ case ”scared the Menaker-Mironov couple in earnest, and they decided to protect their son in at least this way.
In addition to the troubles with the surname, the boy had no other problems: every summer he spent with his parents in the Rest House for artists. There gathered real celebrities, the creative elite. And on weekdays, he drove football, collected badges and often disappeared into the cinema: Andrei simply adored “trophy films”. He studied mediocrely, but in the class enjoyed great authority. He loved to spend time with his brother Cyril Laskari. Favorite game - jazz band. Cyril played the piano, and Andrei played the pans and spoons.
Andrei also liked to try on the role of an artist. He first hit the set when he was 11 years old. The boy was selected in the extras of the film "Sadko". But it did not grow together. The director noticed a shirt under the stage costume of the young actor and drove him off the set. The first failure in the cinema was more than offset by success on the stage of the school theater. In the seventh grade, Andrei made his debut as von Krause in the play "Russian People" by Konstantin Simonov. In the ninth - he entered the school theater studio, and a little later - in the studio at the Central Children's Theater.
In the summer of 1958, Andrei entered the Boris Schukin School at the Vakhtangov Theater. And he does it almost incognito: not admitting kinship with eminent parents. And already two years later he receives the first film role in the film "And if this is love?".
Schukinskoye Andrey graduated with honors. And he was enrolled in the troupe of the Moscow theater of satire, where then it will last a quarter of a century. The young actor immediately became the favorite of the main director Valentin Pluchek. But, surprisingly, the colleagues on the stage did not envy him: Andrey was so charming and talented. The first roles of the debutant immediately won and love among the public. The next 25 years, the audience will adore him and go to the satire theater specifically "on Mironov."
In 1963, the comedy "Three Plus Two" came out on the screens - a film that we love to review today. In it, Andrei played a veterinarian who went in the company of friends on a "wild" vacation.
In 1965, he got a small but very characteristic role with Eldar Ryazanov in the film “Watch Out for the Car”. Their conflicting duet with theater colleague Anatoly Papanov turned out to be no less vivid than the confrontation of the main characters performed by Efremov and Smoktunovsky. By the way, it was with this picture that the story of the friendship of Mironov and Papanov began on the screen and in life.
Incredibly successful began for Mironov 1969th. He gets the role of Figaro in the production of The Marriage of Figaro. This role will forever become his hallmark, and the embodiment of the image is still considered a reference.

And at the end of April of the same year, after a long censorship and coordination, one of the most popular films of the Soviet era, “The Diamond Arm”, was released. Mironov got the main role, and his partners in the filming were Yuri Nikulin and again Anatoly Papanov.
The stellar episode of the picture was the performance by Andrei Mironov of the song "Island of Bad luck." The composition became a hit for many years, like all the songs that he has since performed, playing in the movies. Coincidence or coincidence, but musical numbers were prescribed for almost all of his film characters.

And he left, and his parents remained stunned. And I can say that he did not let me go during the week not once. I only went to change clothes, he waited downstairs ... ”Gradova recalled later.

They got married and soon their beloved Mashenka was born - today the famous actress Maria Mironova. Unfortunately, the couple lived together for only three years. The union could not stand the test: Andrei was jealous of his wife’s fans, and Catherine - of Mironov’s very real lovers.

Troubles in his personal life did not affect the quality of work. “Old robbers”, “The incredible adventures of Italians in Russia”, “Lev Gurych Sinichkin”, “Straw hat”, “Sky swallows”, comedies and vaudevilles — Mironov can handle everything. Each new role, despite the similarity of genres and characters, is not similar to the previous one: Mironov does not like to repeat himself.
Andrew becomes a star of all-Union significance. Spectators demand it more and more. So when Mironov did not act in films, he acted in film for television. Television versions of performances with his participation are also very popular. The play "Little Comedy of the Big House" (1973) is one of the pearls of the repertoire of the satire theater of those years.
Another pearl is the production of “Woe from Wit” (1976) with Andrei Mironov as Chatsky. Critics noted: “We will never see Merry, cheerful and impudent Mironov, only his reflections will flash in one or another role. In part, this turning point was due to a natural transition from youth to adulthood, but to a much greater extent - a change in public sentiment ... "
Meanwhile, in search of personal happiness, Mironov still finds it with the theater artist of the Soviet Army Larisa Golubkina. Remember Shurochka Azarov from the "Hussar Ballad"? It was her! They say that her hands Mironov requested 10 years ago, but then she refused. And now, in 1976, she gave her consent. Andrei adopted the daughter of his wife, also Masha and now also the famous actress Maria Golubkina. Both Mashenek, according to close friends of the actor, Andrei raised and loved the same, without making any differences.
By the way, together with his second wife, Andrei will even appear in one of his next paintings, “Three in a Boat, Not Counting a Dog” (1979) based on the works of Jerome Klapka Jerome. Larisa will play his lover.
In early 1977, “12 Chairs” by Mark Zakharov was released, where Andrei Mironov played Ostap Bender, and his beloved friend and partner Anatoly Papanov, Kisu Vorobyaninov. It is noteworthy that five years earlier, these two auditioned for the same roles, but to another director - Leonid Gaidai. However, he refused them and then called the film Zakharov "a criminal offense." Crime or not, but the film was definitely a success. Critics wrote: “It turned out in the film - and this is indisputable - Bender. Mironov plays here - with all the set of light and comedic colors - the drama of a very talented person. "
The following collaboration with Mark Zakharov also did not go unnoticed by the audience and critics. Two years later, Andrei starred in The Ordinary Miracle, playing the role of Minister-Administrator.
The last vivid film works of Andrei Mironov are roles in the films "The Man from the Capuchin Boulevard" and "My Friend Ivan Lapshin." Both turned out differently tragic and very deep.
The 1980s were not easy for Mironov. He began to pursue illness: the actor suffered the first hemorrhage, and after - meningitis. He climbed out, but what did it cost him. They say that his whole body was struck by terrible boils, each movement caused incredible pain. But he did not stop playing and living to the fullest, not giving the appearance that he was ill.
March 6, 1982, Andrei lost his father. He held on and continued to exhaust himself with work. After his death, it will be estimated that during his life Andrei played fifty roles in the cinema and thirty-five (almost all the main ones) in the theater, behind his shoulders twenty-six large television projects (plays and programs), the sound of twelve animated films, two dozen audio plays and audio books as well as recording six music albums.
Shortly before his death, a series of frightening events occurred. On August 5, 1987, in their Moscow apartment, the best friend of Andrei, actor Anatoly Papanov, is found dead. The cause of death was heart failure, on the work of which Papanov never complained, as well as in general about his health. True, the actor has recently complained that someone is being strangled by an invisible one. He even turned to grandmothers-sorcerers.
Andrei Mironov was beside himself with grief. He stood for a long time at the tomb of a friend, asking the dead partner, how can he play alone now? “Take me with you,” Mironov groaned in despair.
After 9 days, on August 14, Andrei plays in Riga his beloved Figaro. Right in the middle of the hero’s monologue, he falls on the stage to never again recover. Everyone thought that this was the heart, and put the actor under the tongue nitroglycerin, which only worsened the situation: it was impossible to give this drug with brain hemorrhage. For two days, several neurosurgeons fought for his life, but in vain. Early on the morning of August 16, Andrei Mironov died.
The coffin with the body of the actor was taken to Moscow by car. And all along the way, grateful fans strewn with flowers the last road of their beloved Andryusha. The funeral took place on August 20 at the famous Vagankovsky cemetery. Almost none of the colleagues in the theater were there: the leadership did not allow the actors to interrupt the tour in order to say goodbye to their comrade.
