The first lady, Melania Trump, dressed in a bright checkered cape coat festively red, met the official Christmas tree of the White House, brought to the North portico of the building on Monday.
Of course, President Donald Trump was also there to share with his wife the annual mission of the first lady to assess the Fraser gigantic fir, which serves as a holiday tree, writes USA Today... Trumps left the doors of the White House on 13: 12 and met a horse cart with a cart carrying a tree.
Holding hands, the couple walked around the tree and posed for photographers to celebrate the festive music of the naval orchestra, while guests and journalists closely watched Trump.
The 48-year-old First Lady was wearing a red checkered Cape coat (possibly Michael Kors) with black suede suede boots in high heels.
At some point, you could see Melania patting a luxurious large horse in a harness that brought a Christmas tree. Soon the first couple of the country returned to the White House.
The tree, which grew in North Carolina, looked the same as at every annual Christmas tree event, not yet decorated with festive decor and waiting in the wings. What tree will be this time - only the White House decorators and, probably, the first lady herself know.
The 19,5 feet (6 meters) tree is a Fraser Fir from Newland, North Carolina. It was grown by Larry Smith, named "Grand Champion Grower" by the National Christmas Tree Association.
The Christmas tree will be on display in the Blue Room of the White House throughout the holiday season.
In the meantime, Trump will have to fly away from Washington in the second half of Tuesday and go to his house at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida to meet Thanksgiving Day there.
