The specialist urged healthy people to wear a mask only if it is necessary to care for a sick person. Also, a protective agent should be worn when coughing and sneezing.
“Thus, you will not splash your body fluids around others,” the doctor explained.
At the same time, the doctor emphasized that the meaning of wearing a mask is lost if you do not observe hand hygiene.
“If you wear a mask but don’t wash your hands, you will certainly get infected,” Chernysheva warned.

She added that you can’t touch the protective agent with your hands without first washing them or treating them with an antiseptic. The mask should be removed by pushing behind the earloops.
“After that, you must immediately throw the protective agent into a closed bin, wash your hands thoroughly with soap, and then treat them with a disinfectant,” the doctor explained.
In addition, Chernysheva urged to give preference to respiratory masks, as they fit snugly to the face, covering the nose and chin.
“At the same time, the thickness of her pores is such that no virus can penetrate through them - this is the main difference from other masks,” the virologist explained.
