A resident of Lincolnton, North Carolina, tried to return to Walmart 67 products, which, as it turned out, were stolen from the same store.
This was reported by the Lincolnton police, reports Miami Herald.
Customer name is Kimberly Fuller McCabe. Among the 67 products for which she wanted money back, there were underwear, staplers, notebooks, magazines, and medical supplies. According to a police officer, there was no point in picking goods.
“It's like someone accidentally filled the cart,” he added.
The police said they were called by the store manager. He reported on a woman who is trying to return the stolen goods. 44-year-old McCabe waited patiently in the store when police approached her.
As a result, McCabe was charged with trying to get property or money by fraud. For the arrested was set bail in 10 000 dollars.
As for the goods, it was documented and returned to Walmart, said the police.
It is noted that McCabe already has previous convictions for theft, illegal entry and filing a false police report. She is also on probation.
