On the 81 year Russian writer Edward Uspensky died. He gave millions of people heroes of Prostokvashino, Cheburashka, Crocodile Gena and other favorite characters.

The first wife and the image of Shapoklyak
With his first wife, Eduard Uspensky studied at the Moscow Aviation Institute, she quickly captured the attention of the then young man, and in 1963, they got married. Rimma gave birth to her husband's daughter Tanya and was there when Ouspensky started writing cartoon scripts, poems, and then their famous books now for the whole world.
18 years they lived in marriage, and it seemed that nothing foretold the sad development of events, but Edward fell in love with another. Ouspensky met his second wife in the dining room of the animation studio.
Rimma did not expect such a turn of events. In addition, after the divorce, the writer took her daughter with him, and Tanya grew up in a family with a stepmother, who was able to become her friend.
Cheburashka's father recalled not very flattering about his first wife: “My first wife became the prototype of the old woman Shapoklyak - the lady is harmful in all respects. Now I just wonder how we managed to live together for eighteen years! Although, to be honest to the end, Shapoklyak has my features. My character is not angelic either. ”
Second wife - wife forever (almost)
Ouspensky's second wife was younger than him on 22 of the year - he was 42, and she was 20! Surprisingly, her parents had nothing against their union.
Elena was not familiar with the work of the writer, and the first read works of his authorship for her were the stories about Prostokvashino.
“I fell under his charm,” Elena recalled. - He was then 42 of the year, with his wife he was on the verge of a divorce, they didn’t live together by that time. I moved to Edward Nikolaevich. And immediately became a mother. He took to his 12-year-old daughter from his first marriage Tanya. I was for her both a friend and a nanny at the same time. ”
Elena did not give birth to her children, however, she and Edward adopted two girls at once — Ira and Sveta, who had problems with their kidneys, which is why they later became disabled.
When, after 20 years of marriage, Edward decided to leave the family for another woman, it came as a shock to both her and her daughters. She actually remained alone and continued to care for her daughters, who required constant medical supervision.
Third wife and scandalous separation
Ouspensky got acquainted with his third wife on his author's program “Ships entered our harbor”. He needed a helper, and colleagues from Good Morning volunteered to help and sent a tall, slender girl who conquered the writer.
While Elena was at home with her children, Edward spent most of her time with her assistant Eleonora. Their romance spun quickly.
“How could I have prevented Eduard Nikolayevich, especially if he and Eleanor love crazy things? And indeed, it is much easier to endure a divorce than, God forbid, the death of a loved one. And he is a good father, ”Elena recalled.
At first, Ouspensky and his third wife were fine, but then the problems started. Eleanor had a son from a previous relationship, but he could not accept him as her new husband.
The woman recalled that her child constantly listened to complaints against her and was often to blame for simply being there.
However, all disagreements ceased when the writer was diagnosed with stomach cancer. Fortunately, then the disease was able to win. Eleanor went to her husband for all hospitals and rehabilitation centers. But it did not help preserve the relationship.
The pair broke up, and so far no one has given an unequivocal answer to the question "who is to blame?" Some say that Eleanor has another man, so she decided to leave, and she herself claims that she simply could not stand the harsh and sometimes even tyrannical attitude of her husband. The writer's friends also occasionally commented on such statements and confidently said that it’s impossible to talk about battering.
Return of the husband
But no matter what they say, apparently, his most beloved, reliable woman has always been and remained until the last Elena, the second wife. It was to her that Ouspensky returned after a break with Eleanor.
Elena forgave and accepted, and later helped fight the newly emerging terrible disease - cancer, this time - the prostate. The writer eventually lost the fight against him.
