At the press conference of the film "Mom!" (just like that, with a small letter - mother!), which took place the other day in London, the actress categorically refused to give interviews to Russian journalists - they were asked to leave the premises, reports Playbill. Daily.
Jennifer Lawrence justified her refusal in a vague manner, voicing that it was "political" in nature. The star did not go into details, so the press wonders what exactly Lawrence's decision was connected with: with the attitude of the authorities towards representatives of non-traditional orientations, with the country's international politics or high-profile political affairs of individuals.
Journalists from Russia were notified in advance that the actress did not intend to answer their questions, however, came to the press conference. The thing is that (according to insider information) film studio Paramount Pictureswhich is promoting the picture on the Russian market, promised to talk with the actress and ask her to change the decision, but, as it became clear before the press conference, it was not possible to do so.
On September 14, the Russian premiere of the film "Mom!" Directed by Darren Aronofsky is planned. Oscar-winning Hollywood star Jennifer Lawrence played the main role in this film. The picture has already been presented to the world at the Venice Film Festival, and now the presentation is awaiting the Russian audience. Lawrence's partner on the set was Javier Bardem, and Michelle Pfeiffer, Ed Harris and Kristen Wiig also starred in the film. The plot tells about a married couple who receives intruders in their house, after which the relationship between husband and wife begins to collapse.
Whether the act of Lawrence will affect the success of the painting in Russia is not yet known.
