An American woman named Ray from New York came up with an original way to attract the attention of potential suitors. The girl decided to do everything in a wedding dress, reports Inside Edition.
She says that the thought came to her mind when friends talked about unsuccessful dating on the Internet, writes Today.
“I really want to get married, I really want a serious relationship, so I'll make myself a profile with a photo in which I do everything I love in a wedding dress,” she explains.
Having ordered a wedding dress and veil on the Internet, the girl began to implement the plan: went to the store and swept into a dress on a sapboard with a paddle in her hands. Now she plans to travel to Paris and Israel in a wedding dress.
She even called her Instagram using a pun: @knotyouraveragejewishgirl - out loud in English it sounds like “not your average Jewish girl” (“not your ordinary / not just some Jewish girl”). Ray replaced the word “not” with “knot,” which in this context means marriage.
“People love to see me in a wedding dress - they clap, cheer, say that it should be so!” - says the girl.
Ray claims that the idea has already borne fruit. She went on a few dates, but plans to continue the search.
