There are not many products in American stores that are as classic and familiar as Oreo cookies. Since it was invented in 1912, the famous biscuits have come a long way - many flavors are found on supermarket shelves today.
Редакция Insider decided to test 15 variations of Oreo with different, unique flavors. 10 strangers were also involved in testing. So what happened? Please note that the rating is based on the principle "from worst to best" in the opinion of all participants in the experiment.
15. Hot & Spicy Cinnamon
In last place was this very option - a classic chocolate chip cookie and a bright red filling. Perhaps this taste promised to be the most interesting, but in fact, most of the respondents did not like it, except, perhaps, amateurs hot tamales. There were even those who rated cookies on 0 from 10 points.
14. Chocolate hazelnut
The first thought - most likely, there will be some kind of Nutella. Not everyone was disappointed, some even compared the taste to candy Ferrero Rocherthan genuinely surprised the rest. But in general, the cookie did not meet expectations: the filling looks more like the taste of cake decorations than Nutella.
13. Mystery
Taste was specially released for the contest from Oreo, the winner of which, who guessed the correct answer, could get 50 thousand dollars. The cookie looks exactly like the original. Oreo. None of the participants were told what kind of taste was hidden between the cookies, but 5 from 12 was guessed correctly. The answer to the secret question here.

Spiced Pumpkin - This flavor was released in a limited edition for last Halloween, although members were able to locate one in mid-January. Those who love pumpkin liked the vanilla dough and soft orange filling, but couldn't stand the comparison with other cookies. According to those surveyed, the taste takes you back to mid-October and resembles a pumpkin spiced latte.

In general, salted caramel is a great idea. But, most likely, people will like the taste of salted caramel cream in milkshake, ice cream, brownie. Using it in Oreo was not a good idea, according to survey participants. In addition, salt is not particularly felt in the filling.
10. Peanut butter
Another flavor that has received mixed reviews. Those who liked it found similarities to real peanut butter. Fans of chocolate peanut butter pairing will likely appreciate this option. Many called the taste "realistic", although they expected something more artificial, someone compared it to Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
9. Birthday cake
Multicolored blotches interfered with the cream filling, add sweets to this liver. This seemed odd to some participants, but someone did not mind at all. The taste was compared with a mix of several types of candy and recommended for sweet teeth.
8. Thins coconut creme
Thin chocolate chip cookies are paired with coconut cream for a light and pleasant taste. Participants in the survey recommended it to those who love coconut and coconuts themselves, in addition, the low weight of one cookie allows you to get fewer calories (and feelings of guilt for the delicacy eaten).
7. Red velvet
As in the Red Velvet cake, in the cookies Oreo the cakes are dark red - that is, the cookies themselves. Most likely, fans of the classic cake will like it. The cookie tastes very similar to it, but some didn't like the filling - they wanted something more flavorful and less sweet.

In addition, a particularly thin dough and the small weight of each thing have become additional advantages. The taste is reminiscent of peppermint sweets that are offered in restaurants after dinner, but it looks less like mint-chocolate chips.

Thin Lemon Oreo were in fourth place. This is a great light snack, especially for those who do not like an excess of sweetness or chocolate flavor of traditional Oreo... The filling resembles a lemon tart, which goes well with the cookie dough - light, airy and not too cloying.
3. Golden
Well, in the top three - vanilla cookies combined with a classic filling Oreo. Will appeal to those who love the traditional taste, but at the same time wants to try something new. By the way, according to the respondents, this option is slightly sweeter than the main one, which gives a more expressive taste.
2. Double stuf
This cookie has perhaps the most similar taste with classic Oreo... The only difference is that there are really a lot of fillings here, so almost all the participants in the experiment chose him as one of the leaders. There cannot be too much filling, the respondents agreed.

And - ta-dam! - despite all the variety, the overwhelming majority of participants chose the traditional cookies Oreo his favorite. Surprises and uniqueness are all great, but it's hard to imagine anything more inspiring, uplifting, and simply delicious than classic cookies.
