He was shot 3,5 years ago, and she still loves him. So says Anna Duritskaya, a Ukrainian model from Belaya Tserkov, the only witness to one of the most daring political assassinations in Russia - the assassination of Boris Nemtsov.
Nemtsov was shot dead in February 2015. Anna was next to him at that moment. For three years the girl was silent, and now she returned to the podium and even reached the final of the beauty contest "Miss Ukraine - Universe", says TSN.

Her surname became known to the general public in connection with the death of Nemtsov. In fact, this is her first public appearance since then. She has noticeably lost weight, smiles and willingly answered questions related to the beauty contest, but when it comes to Nemtsov, she bites her lip and the smile disappears from her face.
“This is a very big tragedy for me. The loss of the person I loved, and therefore it is really difficult for me to talk about it, ”Anna admitted to TSN journalists.
That this murder is the tragedy of her life, she will repeat many times. It is difficult for her to speak, and it seems that she can hardly hold back tears.
“For me, he was the best man, just the universe, the center of my life,” says Anna.
To the journalist's question about whether the girl still loves Nemtsov, she replied: “Of course. Of course, I miss the past. I would not want to wish anyone to go through what I went through ”.
Anna does not want to talk about how she met Nemtsov. We only know that he was older than her on 32 year. The famous Russian politician and the Ukrainian model from Belaya Tserkov met for two and a half years. Together they were that evening, February 27 2015 of the year. We went home from the restaurant along the big Moskvoretsky bridge. Nemtsov was killed with four shots in the back; he died on the spot.
For the murder of Nemtsov, there are five Chechen performers behind bars. Killer Zaur Dadaev was convicted on 20 years, his accomplices were given from 11 to 19. But who the customer, for three years, the official investigation has not reported.
Anna admits that she does not know who benefited from it. “I have no thoughts on this,” the girl says. “I'm not afraid for my life. I just really don't know, ”she adds.
As a witness in Moscow, Anna Duritskaya was interrogated only once - immediately after the murder. The girl answers all the questions: “I don’t remember anything, I didn’t see the killer”.
After the murder, Anna returned to Ukraine, lived with her parents in Belaya Tserkov and hid from journalists. Now, according to TSN, with reference to the real estate registry, she owns 5 apartments in Kiev. I bought one of them in 2014, when Nemtsov was still alive, two in November 2015, six months after the murder, two more in December 2016.
Anna refuses to comment on property issues, only says that these three years were very difficult psychologically.

Through 3, she received a diploma in psychology. Although she already has an economic education, Anna is going to study as a journalist. Model business, according to her, considers how the possibility of self-realization.
“I just decided to do what I always did,” says Anna.
