Believe me, this dress code does not mean at all that you can come to a wedding in your favorite ripped jeans and a stretched T-shirt. Not at all. This style for a wedding is not at all the same as casual wear. If the invitation does not specifically indicate the theme of the celebration, then you should seriously think over your outfit. Think about how you would dress for a casual first date, for sure - it would be comfortable, smart, but not fancy clothes. Your outfit doesn't have to be chic. Cocktail dresses are semi-formal attire. Women should choose a knee-length dress, modest, but at the same time elegant, the dress can be supplemented with accessories, discreet jewelry. Men can wear a dark suit with a tie. Although a tie is optional in this case, it will add special solemnity to the occasion.

It is rather an intermediate style between a cocktail, semi-formal outfit and style. Black Tie... If the invitation indicates “formal dress code”, then ladies can safely choose both a cocktail dress and a long dress. For men, a dark blue suit is preferable, in which case it is still important to choose a tie. It is this dress code that presupposes stylish, expensive outfits.

This is already an official evening, which will probably start after 6 pm. Long evening dresses with expensive jewelry and elaborate accessories are preferable for ladies. For men, choose a tuxedo or a white blazer and black pants. This is an evening of special solemnity and, choosing an outfit for such a celebration, you can think about what you would like to wear on the red carpet.
