Russian tennis player and world sports star Maria Sharapova, who lives permanently in America, played one of the roles in the television series Billions, commissioned by Showtime.
Sharapova wrote about this in her Instagram account, posting a photo with the famous American actor John Malkovich and British actor Damien Lewis.
"Today on showtime I appeared on screen in #Billions alongside Damian Lewis and John Malkovich. I'm not entirely sure I did it, but it was a wonderful experience. Five in the morning to start filming is not such a bad time when you can sit next to two such talents, ”Maria signed the photo.
The series "Billions" was released on January 17, 2016, the first season consisted of twelve episodes. Literally a week and a half later, it was decided to extend the show for another season, which premiered a year later.
