On September 12, Maria Sharapova held a press conference in New York, timed to coincide with the release of her new book - the athlete wrote an autobiography entitled “The Unstoppable. My life, ”says Championat.
Eyewitnesses say that the line for the autograph of sports stars was even on the street. The epigraph to the autobiographical book of the athlete was the quote: “Judge me not by my success, but by how many times I have climbed”. The author of these words is Nelson Mandela.
The other day, in connection with the release of her autobiography (or just like that), Sharapova suddenly arranged a question and answer session on Twitter. One of the fans, an Irishman, tried to "roll up" to the star and asked her a question: “Maria, this will sound very self-confident, but is there at least one chance that you will be my girlfriend?”. Sharapova beautifully besieged the failed pikaper: “Oh-oh-very self-confident! But I appreciate your attempt. ”
In his work, Sharapova recalls her whole life from early childhood to today. Little Masha, who was barely six years old, was taken by her father to Florida (the girl grew up without a mother). The world-class tennis star Martin Navratilova advised her to take this step, even then seeing a huge potential in a child. In the 17 years, Sharapova has already won the Wimbledon tournament and found herself in a stellar environment, which was a difficult test for tennis players. "Victories spoil you", - Maria admits.
In the book, the star frankly shares his feelings about growing up without a mother, about becoming a part in the world of big sports, about attitudes towards the game and people. In addition to the paper version, the athlete released an audiobook, which she recorded herself.
