Ivanka Trump bribed neighbors with sweets

After Donald Trump assumed the presidency, his daughter Ivanka Trump and her family moved to Washington DC where they bought a house for $ 5,5 million a few months ago in an elite neighborhood.
Residents of the Kalorama region are not very pleased with this neighborhood, since there is a lot of security on duty near the house, and Ivanka and her husband Jared’s cars occupied most of the parking, reports Huffingtonpost.

“It's been a circus since they moved in,” said Marietta Robinson, a neighbor who lives across from the couple and their three children. Other neighbors complained about closed sidewalks, parking problems, and trash cans outside the Trump and Kushner homes.
For several months, Ivanka, apparently, did not suspect that the neighbors were not very supportive of her, as she said: “We love our neighborhood, and our family met an incredibly cordial welcome from the neighbors.”

Last week, Ivanka Trama seems to have decided to build relationships with her neighbors. She and her children baked various sweet delicacies and went to talk with the residents of nearby houses.

On Thursday evening, journalists photographed Ivanka, her husband Jared, and their two children, Arabella and Joseph, are handing out treats to secret service agents near their home.
According to neighbors who were interviewed by journalists, this tactic worked. Neighbors, who were wary of new residents of the area, spoke very warmly of Ivanka.
