Catherine's husband Valentin Didenko and guests jumped into the water. When it interacted with water, dry ice turned into carbon dioxide. The accident claimed the lives of people, two of whom died on the spot. Three days after the tragedy, Ekaterina Didenko told on the air of the talk show "Let them talk" on Channel One about what had happened.
According to Catherine, she did not know anything about the upcoming experiment. Her husband Valentine wanted to make a surprise and bought dry ice.
“He didn't tell me what would be there. “This is a surprise” ... When they started to fill up dry ice, I thought that it would be filled in and that would be the end of it. I didn't think that people would jump there. I thought it was beautiful smoke, everyone would be happy and go on having fun, ”said Ekaterina.

When Valentin and the guests jumped in protective suits into the pool with dry ice, they became ill, but Ekaterina and other participants in the party did not immediately understand this: it seemed to them that this was all a hoax.
“When Slavik (blogger Vyacheslav Zvyagin. - Ed.) Was taken out of the water, I see that his face is blue. I ask: "Slavik, is this a joke?" He is silent ... I remembered about my husband only later. First, Slavik got out and they began to help him. Those who emerged and were conscious were taken away. And then I realize that my husband is not there, I start to panic. When there was a little less smoke, his friend jumped into the water and took it out. He was blue. I gave him both heart massage and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. At first he was blue, then his skin turned pink, he began to breathe, ”said Ekaterina.
The version of Catherine was confirmed by other people who were also present at the party, writes Medialeaks. Her friend Elena Pereverzeva talked with Andrei Malakhov on the program "Live". She explained that the guests perceived everything that was happening as a rally. Because of this, at first no one even realized that everyone who jumped into the pool felt bad.
“The fact is that everyone perceived it as a kind of performance. What happens is like a zombie apocalypse. There was a feeling that they should jump into the smoke, and zombies would now come out of there. Accordingly, it was understood that a person “dies”, becomes a zombie, and comes out of there. <…> When the very first girl, Katya, felt that something was wrong ... It looked as if she had just started to play zombies, ”Elena said.
The last of the airless captivity pulled out the wife of Catherine - Valentine.
Valentin Didenko died in the hospital. Doctors tried to resuscitate him, but to no avail. Catherine told about the death of her husband and father of her two children on Instagram.
