Jackie Miley from Rapid City in South Dakota really set a world record - it was listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the owner of the largest collection of teddy bears in the world. The toys included in the collection were sent to women from every state in the USA, as well as from 29 countries of the world. Unique bears are kept in the house, which is called Teddy bear town - anyone can come here to look at the plush animals with their own eyes and buy some souvenirs.
It all started 17 years ago - then the future record holder had only one teddy bear named “Grandma Jackie”. Now it is much more fun for him to live in a cozy house in the company of 8025 other toy friends. “For me, this house is a place of memories. My first cubs are there. There are toys that remind me of people who are no longer around ... Many of them help me return to childhood, ”says the owner of the collection.
The most valuable bear in the collection is the bear that Jackie sent from an elementary school in Minnesota, where she studied many years ago. As a surprise gift, the school management pasted a photo of Miley herself in the second grade onto a bear chest. This picture turned out to be the only photograph of that time that Jackie has.
