Russia is one of the three most life-threatening countries. This is reported by the portal of legal statistics of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, reports “МК“. According to the portal, Russia ranks third among the countries with the highest homicide rate per capita. The United States is in fourth place, but with a lower percentage.
The Prosecutor General’s Office refers to information from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime. It follows from them that it is more dangerous than in Russia, lives only to citizens of Mexico and Brazil.
So, in Mexico, 100 has thousands of people in 23,7 murders, in Brazil - 21 murders, and in Russia - 10,2 murders.
The United States (4,8 killings), India (3,46 killings), and Egypt with the UK (1,2 killings) follow by a significant margin.
In the sample of countries represented in the statistics of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, Japan is the most prosperous: there are a total of 0,4 murders per hundred thousand inhabitants.
At the same time, if you look at the total number of murders, regardless of the population, it turns out that the most murders are committed in India (42 923), Russia “moves” to the fourth line with 14 574 murders and only then follows the USA with 14 748 murders.
At the same time, the Prosecutor General’s Office stipulates that these statistics do not include cases of accidents, and murder means the intentional deprivation of another person’s life.
