Moscow investigators continue to investigate the case of cosmetologists who provided poor-quality services to Muscovites and mutilated their faces.
The figurants of the investigation are three women who provided unsafe services. They did not have a specialized education, but they worked at home, says Rambler.
19 to 500 affected
For eight years — from 2008 to 2016 — Natalya Korosteleva, who in the UK is considered the organizer of the gang, “acting as an individual entrepreneur, presented herself as a cosmetologist and performed cosmetic procedures, sharing the proceeds with the other two accomplices.” Two other women, Ekaterina Egorova and Saniyat Yaikbaeva, were assisted and worked as “cosmetologists”.
As a result of the 19 injections, clients who applied to the levrachians, received, as indicated in the report of the investigators, “indelible facial changes and psychological trauma.” The total number of victims can reach 500 people, but many were not ready to turn to the investigation, Komsomolskaya Pravda writes.
Earlier, Korostelev and Egorov were dismissed by the court on a written undertaking not to leave the place and proper behavior. Yaikbaeva fled from the investigation, but was detained the other day. On Thursday, the court considered the petition for her arrest.

Lack cosmetologists worked at home in one of the apartments of the metropolitan area Strogino, as well as in private clinics. Their offer had a lower price compared to competitors, so there was no shortage of customers.

“8 education and advanced training documents were removed from the site. But when checking it turned out that the diplomas of secondary and higher education - a fake, the defendant was neither a doctor nor a nurse, she graduated only from school. For many years she managed to fool not only patients, but also inspectors: Korosteleva designed her services as cosmetic and not cosmetic. Women know the difference: the first is masks. The second is more serious, involves injections, the use of medical devices, ”said investigator Kirill Revyakov.

According to Revyakova, Korosteleva said that her grandmother was a doctor, and she learned how to make injections from her.
“Korosteleva’s two assistants also did not have adequate training. It is known that the forensic scientist constantly changed jobs: as soon as the clients had complaints, the salons parted with a dubious employee. As a result, she began to take in her apartment, having equipped one of the rooms under the office, ”Revyakov added.
Gel for walls, not for faces
The investigator spoke about the horrific consequences of using the gel, which "cosmetologists" treated patients.
“We managed to establish that polyacrylamide is included in the drug that the defendants used. In 90-ies, it was allowed for use in Russia, but its registration was long over. Without it, it is impossible to work with this substance in medicine or cosmetology.
To make it clear: you can seal a hole in the wall with this gel, and work on the lips and face for no reason. The consequences of the most terrible, until the removal of the facial muscles! By the way, the accused has pricked his clients with polyacrylamide under the guise of safe hyaluronic acid, ”he said.
According to him, it was decided not to detain a woman for the duration of the investigation, since she alone is raising a child without her husband. Under pressure from law enforcement, she stopped working as a “cosmetologist” and settled in the temple.

One of the patients confirmed the horrific consequences.
“They repeated the procedure three times, after which the face became completely ugly. The gel has accumulated and began to swell inside, and individual pieces broke off and walked along the face under the skin. His cheeks were swollen like a hamster, everything hurt. I turned to surgeons and found out that I have a biopolymer that does not absorb. Scars and tissue death have gone from him. As a result, over the course of several years, I performed 25 operations under both local and general anesthesia, and rehabilitation is not yet complete, ”she said.
