The name of this scam artist was almost the most famous in 1990. And in the creation and successful work of "MMM" Sergey was helped by his family, including three women from his closest circle - his wife Elena, her younger sister Oksana and the wife of Mavrodi's younger brother - Marina. All women played a significant role in building a financial pyramid, which deprived many depositors of their savings.

In the case of Sergei Mavrodi's family, the scheme when the wife does housekeeping and is waiting for her husband from work does not work. Elena was directly involved in the business of her husband - was his assistant. However, it is difficult to speak about the list of her duties.
The girl was called “the most beautiful butterfly in the Mavrodi collection” (Sergey could boast an impressive collection of butterflies - ed.). In addition to the natural beauty, Elena had considerable ambitions.
In 1995, she planned to participate in the elections to the State Duma and to be a representative from the Tula region. It is said that no candidate could compete with her in the amount of funds invested in Elena’s promotional campaign. It is logical, because the husband gave the money, a successful businessman. However, this did not help, Elena could not enlist the support of a sufficient number of voters.
The second attempt to get into the State Duma Elena made in 1998, then she decided to act for sure and bought votes. She was caught in this case and, by court decision, was removed from participation in the elections. Surely, the idea of trying to get into the State Duma was more interesting for Sergey, and not for his wife.
But this is not the last time that Helen's name was mentioned in the context of an ambiguous situation. In 2001, she kidnapped the baby. The woman eventually returned the baby herself, explaining her actions by saying that she wanted to help her childless friend. But it is possible that Elena stole the boy for herself, because Sergey Mavrodi honestly admitted that his wife wanted children, but he did not. However, according to some sources, Sergey and Elena still have a child - the daughter of 1982, who was born. It was to her that Elena dedicated her life after her divorce from her husband in 2005. By the way, she chose to go into the shadows and even changed her name and appearance.

Oksana Pavlyuchenko arrived in Moscow at the end of 1990, entered the Plekhanov Institute, lived on the money of her sister's husband, but was able to thank him for this generosity.
Entrepreneurial Oksana created a virtual exchange on the Internet, where people invested quite real money. Then that same stock exchange seemed to disappear into the air, along with all the contributions that amounted to millions of dollars. This "business" Oksana turned with Sergey Mavrodi, after which they were both put on the Interpol wanted list. However, after a while, all the charges against them were dropped, and the fictitious exchange was called just an online game in which people can lose and win money at will.
Marina Mavrodi
Marina Mavrodi was the wife of Sergey's younger brother, Vyacheslav. They say that the name of the financial pyramid "MMM" is the abbreviation of their names: Mavrodi, Mavrodi, Muravyov (the maiden name of Marina).
The girl was directly involved in this business - she worked as an accountant. However, when her husband was arrested, she did not become sad for a long time and went headlong into a relationship with Oleg Gazmanov.
On top of that, after the arrest, Marina Mavrodi’s spouse broke all her ties with Sergey and Elena, who, according to those close to her, did not even want to hear about the latter. What happened between women is a mystery.
Son Philip (from Vyacheslav Mavrodi) Marina brought up together with Oleg. Later the couple had a joint child - daughter Marianna.
