This story could well form the basis of the script for the action film. Two runaways, 41-year-old Michelle Messer and 46-year-old Corey Chapin were detained in Las Vegas last Monday ...
A woman who worked as a professional psychologist is accused of helping a dangerous criminal escape from oversight. The couple spent two weeks on the run until she was arrested by the police, writes The Daily Mail.
Corey Chapin ended up in a psychiatric hospital three years ago - then a forensic doctor diagnosed him with bipolar disorder and felt that without special therapy, Chapin could pose a danger to society.
At that time, Corey was accused of kidnapping and possession of drugs. A year later, Cory tried to escape: he was officially allowed to leave the clinic for two days to visit his elderly father, but the man left for Vegas, where he accidentally fell into the hands of the authorities only after a year and a half. Then he attempted to escape on his own, but this time it was not so.
Psychologist Michelle Messer fell in love with the criminal, his own patient, with whom professional ethics strictly forbids entering into any kind of relationship, and has hit hard with him. The woman more than once handed over to him prohibited items in the hospital, including unspecified medications.
It all ended with the fact that both left the clinic and went to Vegas, where they were found two weeks later. Now both are spending not so pleasant time in the prison of Nevada. It is not yet clear what kind of punishment threatens the careless psychologist.
