American dance lessons
In my American school, many things are completely different than in Belarus. There is no need to "bring" a partner, everyone will be given out on the spot, and there are more guys in the group than women. The first difference that catches your eye is the music control: the teacher's phone is connected to the computer, it regulates the music without interrupting the lesson. Just? Just! In order not to yell at the whole huge hall, she speaks into a small microphone.
And the second is a deodorant in an aerosol and mouthwash. All this beauty is located in the toilet. Well, is it not a miracle?
And now a few facts.
I go to Atomic Ballroom since this is the only place I have found where at least sometimes a Viennese waltz is practiced - the love of my life. In this school, the lesson lasts 45 minutes. The schedule on the school website indicates the name of the dance and the level of difficulty, but the teachers do not care where you go and what level you have. The lessons here go without interruption, i.e. one ends in 6: 15 and the next begins in 6: 15.
The teacher remembers what she taught last time, and she has a lesson plan for today. Everything is thought out and taken into account in advance, without the hysterical impromptu and "oh, something is not good."
People are funny. I can understand when they change simple shoes to a ballroom, but when they come in slaps to change their shoes in sneakers, it is very funny.
I like the quality of lessons better in Belarus, but I don’t need my own dance partners and I can rinse my mouth deliciously before the lesson or after the chocolates with which the entire hall is littered, and the people are backed up with them before, after and during the lessons.

How was my first International Women's Day in the USA
On the wonderful day of the 8th of March there were no holidays, working days and other similar entertainments. But I found an increase in the number of flowers in the store - I saw blooming tulips right in the banana zone of the vegetable department, which I had not seen before.
However, the most surprising for me was the congratulations from the teacher at the training. “With the international women's day, dear women,” said a natural native speaker of English to the trainees. A little later, I noticed a similar greeting in the instagram of the first lady of the United States.
Although it still seems to me that Americans relate to this day, as in Belarus, to the day of cats, carrot day and other holidays of unknown origin: he giggled, was surprised, sent a couple of strange sms and safely forgot.
