Aftermath (2019)
1946, Germany tries to recover from defeat in World War II. Strange as it may seem, former opponents help her in this. Briton Lewis Morgan (Jason Clark) with his wife arrives in ruined Hamburg. He is settled in a house confiscated from the German architect Lübert (Alexander Skarsgård). However, the former owner of the mansion has not gone anywhere and continues to live here with his daughter.
Between him and Rachel (Keira Knightley), Lewis' wife, a romance breaks out. And although the plot looks like a typical story of forbidden love, grief and how each of the heroes tries to cope with the tragic consequences of the war come to the fore.
