In Dallas, Texas, an employee of a second-hand Jewish store, Guadeloupe Risor, found $ 17 050 in an old coat pocket and returned them to Cherie 78-year-old widow who donated a coat to the store. This edition writes WFAA.
Risor found four envelopes in his coat pocket, in which there were bills in denominations of $ 50 and $ 100. The woman turned to the boss.
According to assistant manager of the store, Katie Barker, the envelopes bore the surname that the employees could find in the store's database - and found the 78-year-old widow.
Upon learning of the discovery, the widow was very surprised, since she knew nothing about this money, which was probably put off by her husband. Sheri also noted that after her husband’s death in January 2017, she was in a difficult financial situation due to a lack of money to pay bills.
The store gave the widow the entire amount found. She, in turn, thanked the employee who found the money for honesty, giving her a thousand dollars.
