“I believe two countries create beauties in the world. These are Russia and Brazil, ”he said to the host of the program, fashion historian Alexander Vasiliev.
Gaultier added that he was struck by how many beautiful fashion models there are in Russia, while he did not see a single beautiful fashion model. In his opinion, this is because "Russian men are macho, and women are trying to please."
