Turkish footballer Tsevher Toktash, who is a member of the Bursa Yildirim Spor amateur club, has confessed to the murder of his five-year-old son due to the fact that “he just didn’t love him”, they write "News".
On April 23, Toktash called the doctors because the boy had difficulty breathing and a high fever. Doctors isolated both, because the child had symptoms specific to coronavirus. A few hours later the boy passed away.
11 days after the incident, Toktash appeared at the local police station to confess to the crime. According to him, he strangled his son with a pillow when they were alone in the room.
“I laid a pillow on my son’s head while he was lying on his back. For 15 minutes I pressed on her without lifting. My son has resisted all this time. When he stopped moving, I raised my pillow, ”the statement said.

Answering a question about the motive for the act, Toktash said that he had killed his son because he simply “did not love him.”
“I never loved my youngest son after his birth. I do not know why. The only reason I killed him that day was because I didn't like him. I have no mental problems, ”Toktash said.
After the confession of the footballer was arrested, he will stand trial for the murder of a close relative, the maximum penalty for which could be life imprisonment.
