Four children from 7 to 13 years old and 53-year-old adult died as a result of poisonous poisoning for snakes, which 23-year-old woman sprinkled in a soup at a housewarming party.
A resident of the Indian village Mahad Pradniya Survasa was offended by her relatives for making fun of her culinary talents, writes Metro. The woman decided to poison the most hated family members, but poorly planned the crime.
When it turned out who exactly served the food at the party at the time when the people were poisoned, Survasa's intent was revealed. During the interrogation, the woman admitted that her plans were to poison several relatives - her husband, two of his sisters, mother-in-law with her husband and sister. But everything turned out differently.
Pradnia invited 120 people to a party and treated the traditional bean soup, where she sprinkled poison, designed to destroy the snakes. After a few hours, people began to complain of nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. 88 people were hospitalized. Four children and one adult could not be saved. 13, a year-old boy who survived the poisoning, recalls that the food seemed bitter to him.
What did Survasa take up against? The woman said that relatives, whom she planned to poison, regularly insulted her herself, bullied her because of her too dark skin tone, and also “walked” over the food she was preparing, sharply criticizing the cooking.
Now the woman has been arrested - she faces the death penalty.
