Renowned Hollywood director Woody Allen first spoke of his marriage to his adopted daughter Sun-Yi Previn in his memoir, Apropos of Nothing. The book is Woody Allen's candid account of his life, from childhood to the present day.
Later, 84-year-old Woody shared the details of the marriage with 49-year-old Song-i Preven, whom he married in 1997.
Sun-I Preven was then 26 years old. The couple adopted two girls - Bechet and Mansi. As you know, the affair with Song-Yi began when Allen was still living with her adoptive mother, the famous actress Mia Farrow. When the truth was revealed, she provoked a big scandal in Hollywood.

“I admit that our relationship didn't make sense. At first glance, we looked like an irrational couple. I was much older and she was an adopted child. From the outside it seemed that it was more like exploitation - I would use her like an old male, and she would use what I have. But this is not the case. In the past, I have always had relationships with actresses, but for some inexplicable reason, it worked out with Sun-Yi, ”the director said in an interview with Mail on Sunday.
According to Woody Allen, he calmed down when he married Sun-Yi: “Since I married her, I calmed down. I got rid of many neuroses, although I still dislike tunnels and small enclosed spaces like elevators. ”

When asked why the marriage with Song-Yi became so strong, the director suggested that the reason lies in the difference in tastes. Woody also talked about the adoption of two children and how the lives of their daughters are taking shape.
“We have adopted two children. Being a father was important to me. We had a lot of fun. Both girls are now in college, one in California and the other at an art college in New York. Sun-Yi changed me. She makes me go out four or five times a week. She likes social noise, and so do I, ”said the famous director.
