The US military, assigned to the escort team of US Vice President Mike Pence, lost their jobs at the White House due to an incident with women.
Soldiers without permission brought the fair sex to the hotel, reports NBC.
The incident occurred in a hotel in Panama, where Pence was supposed to stay during an official trip.
According to three US Department of Defense staff, this fact confirms the video from the hotel.
Sources in the White House TV channel reported that the violation occurred even before the Vice President of the United States went on a visit to Latin America.
“We are aware of this incident and are currently investigating it,” said Air Force spokesman Colonel Patrick S. Ryder. “We can confirm that the people in question were redirected back to the army and air force,” he added.
According to officials, at the moment there is no indication that the women who were brought to the hotel were prostitutes.
This incident was not the first violation of this kind. In 2012, eight US Secret Service agents were also caught in secret meetings with women during the visit of President Barack Obama to Colombia. Then the agents held in their hotel rooms prostitutes from the strip club.
