In Florida, the mother left the child in a hot car and went shopping

A resident of South Dayton, Florida, Collin Walker faces charges of failing to care for the child. Police found her 5-year-old son, left in the heat in the car, reports Miami Herald.
The temperature in the car at the time of arrival of the ambulance staff and the police amounted to 110 degrees Fahrenheit (this is 43 degrees Celsius scale).
The 911 service was called by a bystander who noticed the boy in the front seat of the car. The kid was in the car for about 30 minutes and managed to sweat a lot. The police said that one window in the car was ajar, others closed.
The boy's mother tried to justify herself by saying that she had gone shopping with an 3-year-old daughter, and there weren't any 12 minutes. However, according to law enforcement, it is not.
The woman was arrested, but the most surprising thing is that while she was being taken in a patrol car, she complained about the stuffiness in the cabin and asked to turn on the air conditioner.
“On the way to jail, she complained that it was too hot in the back seat of our patrol car and asked the officer to turn on the air conditioner,” said a police spokesman.
Later, Walker was released from prison on bail of 5 thousand dollars. According to Volucia County court records, Walker was arrested in 2007 and 2009 for possession of cocaine.
