People often go for beauty treatments to the master at home, and also take advantage of special offers and promotions. However, this is often not the best choice. Not because you do not pay taxes when you go to the master's home, but because there are procedures that must be carried out in suitable conditions, otherwise they can cause serious complications.

As for the fillers, there are no inconsistencies with the requirements of regulatory acts.
The chairman of the Latvian Association of Aesthetic Medicine Valdis Gilis shared his opinion on the situation in the industry.
First of all - medicine
“It should be remembered that this is not only about beauty - aging skin, unwanted hair, skin pigmentation problems, tattoos, scars and the like. Here, medicine is superior to beauty,” Gilis explains. According to him, there are more and more people who offer various aesthetic medicine procedures, such as photoepilation, botulinum injections, and fillers, without the appropriate knowledge, they use inappropriate equipment and products.
“For the majority, this is about making money, and they absolutely do not think about how dangerous it is,” explains the head of the association. And the more people do it unprofessionally, the more dangerous these procedures become, Gilis adds.
The Association advocates that the above procedures be carried out by doctors who have undergone special training and who know not only human anatomy, but also the methods of a specific procedure, as well as those who have passed the exam.
It is equally important to use quality materials - they must be certified and safe. As a negative example, Gilis mentions poor-quality and insufficiently purified hyaluronic acid. The association wants such products to be distributed as prescription drugs. Documentation is important because it helps to find a patient if problems are discovered later.
Be interested in the price and education of the specialist
With ineptly carried out photo epilation, two complications are possible - burns and stimulation of the hair roots, which will lead to the fact that in the future a person who wants to get rid of the hair will grow darker, thicker and stronger hair.
When carrying out various “beauty injections”, an anesthetic is often added to the drugs, which can cause anaphylactic shock. And if this is not done in the clinic, it can end very sadly, Gilis warns.
Serious complications are possible with the introduction of hyaluronic acid - there may be thrombosis, which will lead to blindness or cause serious cosmetic defects.
There is also a small risk if the procedure is carried out by a certified specialist using quality tools. But he must be able to properly respond and have a drug that neutralizes hyaluronic acid. Equally important is the ability to understand in time that a complication has begun.
Gilis notes that there has also been a positive trend - people who want to receive the services of aesthetic medicine call the association and ask about specialists who are not on its list. Also, people began to turn more often to clinics where certified specialists work.
As for the price, Gilis emphasizes that it should also be an indicator.
The service cannot be cheap, because the price includes the maintenance of the clinic, the education of a specialist, the cost of drugs and other factors. And if the cost of the procedure - 50 dollars, the client can not take less than 120 dollars, says the expert.
And if a cosmetologist received his education only at various courses, then he can only perform hygienic and non-invasive procedures for caring for the skin of the face and body. For example, massage, waxing, eyebrow correction, masking, etc. Such specialists are not entitled to perform injections and more serious procedures.
