More than two years have passed since the death of the famous actor and director Oleg Tabakov, but his grave still stands without a monument. Numerous admirers of the artist want to know why this happened, because the time has come to put the master's burial place in proper shape, they write Dni.ru.
According to the actress, 2020 was not an easy year. Marina Zudina wanted to refine her husband's grave for his birthday, August 17. However, these plans had to be abandoned. The star said that during her lifetime everyone wanted to help her and Tabakov, there was a team of like-minded people, and now she was left alone with her problems.
Zudina added that in the first year after Tabakov's death she was unable to work on the monument - the pain of loss was too strong. When emotions subsided, the celebrity was faced with a lack of good ideas. As a result, the sketch of the monument was made by the artist Nikolai Simonov. The sculptor Andrey Nalich also took part in the process of creating the monument - he gave professional advice.

As it turned out, Simonov went to Tabakov's grave for six months to create a concept that could convey the spirit of the director.
“We had no idea how to portray a cheerful, energetic, young-hearted person like Oleg Pavlovich,” said the actress.
Marina discussed the idea of the monument with some of her husband's colleagues and friends. All commended the concept. The idea was also appreciated by the children of the actor Pavel and Maria.
The star does not see anything terrible in the fact that the burial of her husband is only decorated with a wooden cross. According to the actress, it has more meaning and dignity than some stone monuments. Zudina noted that there are always fresh flowers, candles and, for some reason, a lot of toys from fans at Tabakov's grave.
