About a week ago Nikolai Karachentsov died in the Moscow City Oncology Hospital. The day before, a commemoration ceremony for the famous actor took place in the House of the Actor on Arbat, at which his widow Lyudmila Porgina gave free rein to her feelings, the newspaper Dni.ru reports.
Lyudmila Porgina said that during her lifetime Nikolay Karachentsov had asked her not to mourn him at the wake.
“It's hard for us, but he strictly forbade weeping at the funeral, so let's devote this memorial dinner to communication with Kolya - as if he were here with us. In my heart, like yours, he will remain forever. So we are not sad today, but raise our glasses! ” Said the widow.
Ludmila Porgina herself drank brut champagne during the whole evening. According to her, she always loved him, so Karachentsov often gave her this drink. In the end, the widow raised a glass for her late husband.
"Kolya told me:" When I die, of course, you will drink a glass to me! " And I carry out his order. Because Kolya was with us and gave his love, it's time for all of us to drink. Hip-hip-hurray! " - said Porgina, after which all the guests also shouted "Hurray".
Life of Nikolai Karachentsov broke off one day before his 74 anniversary, which the actor planned to celebrate with friends at the hospital. The renowned artist failed his kidneys, while metastases struck almost all organs.
The actor found a lung tumor in early November 2017 of the year. In September, he was hospitalized with pneumonia.
Karachentsov worked at Lenkom for almost 40 years. He also acted in films, on account of the actor work in the popular films "The Eldest Son", "The Dog in the Manger", "The Trust That Burst", "The Man from Boulevard des Capuchins" and others.
