Every American knows and loves the tradition, according to which on Halloween nights children go to neighbors and collect treats: "wallet or life", "sweetness or nasty" (trick-or-treat). But yesterday one of the small residents of the Menominee Indian Reservation in Wisconsin received a completely unexpected "treat" instead of candy. His mother found methamphetamine in a bag of sweets, writes New York Post.
A small package with a narcotic substance was found among the candies. It is still not known whether the drug was deliberately brought to children's sweets or turned out to be in a bag by accident. The woman immediately went to the police, who confirmed the fact that the young child was really treated with a drug prohibited in America. Fortunately, the baby did not have time to try and even open the bag.
Examining the contents of other children’s holiday bags, law enforcement officers did not find anything like that. An example of the boy’s mother, in any case, confirmed the fact that parents need to be attentive to everything that children bring to the house, even if it’s innocent holiday treats at first glance.
