In Long Island, a woman beat up an armed robber

Three employees of a commission shop in Long Island overpowered an armed robber.
According to police, a woman took a pistol from a robber and hit them on the man’s head, The New York Post.
Ronald J. Kelly entered the store Island trrift with firearms around 8: 25 evenings on Saturday, August 19, and demanded that the store manager give the available money, according to Suffolk County police.
The woman was able to pick up a pistol from a robber and, with the help of two other employees, bring it down on the floor.
“She grabbed a gun and started fighting the guy,” said store manager Rich Rodriguez. "Two male employees saw what was happening and started punching the guy in the face." After that, the woman began to beat the robber in the face with the handle of a pistol. “She's very brave,” added Rodriguez, describing the woman who has not been identified.
The trio managed to keep Kelly on the floor until the police arrived. None of the staff members was injured, but the robber received abrasions and bruises. According to police, he was taken to hospital Stony brook hospital for treatment.
45-year-old Kelly was charged with robbery of the first degree and illegal possession of prohibited substances.
