In California, police detained a "mermaid" who was walking down the street

In the city of Fresno (California), police detained a half-naked girl who roamed the streets and claimed that she was a mermaid. According to the portal Yourcentralvalleywhen the police examined the girl, they themselves were a little discouraged - the girl had membranes on her feet.
The detainee only said that she was Joanna, the girl answered other questions: “I don’t know”.
Local Police Lieutenant Mark Hudson reports that the girl claimed she was in the lake and now needs help. She herself asked to be taken to the hospital. Doctors are still watching the new patient - apart from an obvious mental disorder, no injuries were found on the girl's body.
The appearance of the "mermaid" is also strange because when she was discovered at about 3 am, she was wet from head to toe, but there are no lakes nearby in that area.
The police are looking for people who may know anything about the girl. Her signs are age from 16 to 30 years old, brown eyes, brown hair, fused fingers on both feet.
