A teenager from Illinois, 15-year-old Anna Schroeder is accused of killing her mother.
She shot her mother, and then called her friend to help her hide her tracks, New York Post.
According to the police, Anna shot a mom, 53-year-old Peggy Schroeder, with a 38 caliber revolver when she returned home from work. It happened in the city of Morrison, on Thursday, July 6.
When mom came into the house, Anna asked her to throw a towel over her face, after which she shot her head in cold blood, a police officer said in an interview for Sauk Valley News. The motive of the crime is still not clear.
It is noted that after the incident, Anna wrote a message to her friend, 15-year-old Rachel Helm from nearby Rock Falls. She confessed to her what she had done, and when her friend did not believe her, she sent a photo of her dead mother. Rachel immediately came to her friend's house to help cover up the crime.
According to the testimony, the teenagers wanted to clean the carpet of blood. The next day, they moved the body of a woman from the living room to the bedroom and covered with a sheet. After that, they bought more detergents, but in the end, on Saturday, they decided to set fire to the house so that there was definitely no evidence left.
Reportedly KWQC, firefighters arrived at the call and found Peggy Schroeder’s body. It is alleged that Rachel blamed herself so much that she decided to admit everything to her mother. The woman took her daughter to the police. After her testimony, Anna Schroeder was arrested. During the interrogation, she confessed to the murder of the mother, the officer said.
Both girls were taken into custody Mary Davis Detention Home in Galesburg. On Tuesday, 11 July, Anna was accused of first-degree murder, concealing a crime and arson. Her friend is not officially charged. 8 August teenagers must be brought to justice.

“I don't even know if you can see me right now, but if so, I just want to say that you are my best friend. I was not always a good daughter, and I am very sorry. I love you very much, mom, I just want you to know this, and I will never forget you. ”
