In 17 years, Kayla Jones from Arkansas learned that she has a uterine tumor. Doctors were able to save both ovaries of a young woman, but had to remove the uterus. Kayla was told that she can have children, but only with the help of a surrogate mother.
29-year-old Kayla and her husband Cody Jones told ALT magazine, which is referenced Miami Heraldthat they had long been ready to have a child, but could not find a woman who would agree to endure it.
Cody's mother, 50-year-old Patti Reecker, noticed how much her son and daughter-in-law are tormented, and made them an unexpected offer: to carry the couple's child.
“I told them: I will do it if I can,” the woman admits.
Genetically, it will be the child of Cody and Kayla, but Patty, herself a mother of three, can help bring him into the world. Which she did. True, at first the family was disappointed: the first embryo transfer failed. But the second one took place.
The fact that everything went well, the couple decided to tell Patty at work, removing her reaction to the video.
To maintain a healthy pregnancy, a woman received injections of hormones, since she had already started menopause. Kylie admits to becoming close to her mother-in-law during pregnancy.
“I know more about my mother-in-law than most people probably know about themselves. I learned that Patty loves peanut butter and bacon for breakfast, sleeps sitting, almost never drinks soda and knows how to love with all my heart. ”
Cross Allen Jones was born on December 30 as a result of a caesarean section. Patty recovered from pregnancy and surgery and is happy with the main result of her efforts.
