Food photographer and visual artist, Ukrainian Darina Kossar has become famous throughout the world for her unique paintings. The girl creates small masterpieces, using an unusual material for this - food. Darina publishes her works in Instagram and other social networks.
Imagine a portrait of, for example ... Bradley Cooper neatly laid out with spices, or Eddie Murphy's face from Oreo cookies. What about Gordon Ramsay made of black peppercorns or “vegetable” Frida Kahlo?
It all sounds fantastic, but it looks very real and very beautiful. To create portraits Darina also uses inedible materials - for example, pieces of cloth, but almost all her works can be eaten (although it is a pity).
A few years ago, Darina did not think about the profession of a food photographer - she studied at a marketer and studied psychology, she just liked to photograph food and come up with something interesting from the products.
At some point, friends began to ask questions why a talented artist creates such beauty only for herself and in no way presents to the world. And it started ... Social accounts, likes, popularity and numerous offers to monetize the work.
According to the artist, the creation of one edible masterpiece takes from one to seven days. Plots and stories in most cases, food photographer chooses randomly and in the mood. For convenience, Darina always carries with her writing materials to carry out sketches at any time if she visits inspiration.
