'I had no choice': Prince Harry spoke out publicly about giving up royal titles

Speaking at a meeting of the charity organization Sentabale, Harry noted that he has tremendous respect for his grandmother, whom he called "his supreme commander."
“We hoped we could continue to serve the Queen, the Commonwealth and the military associations without government funding. Unfortunately, it turned out to be impossible, ”he said.
At the same time, Harry noted that Britain is his home and favorite place and that "it will always be so."

Earlier, Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry and his wife Megan will no longer use their royal titles and will no longer receive public funds.

“Therefore, I am now very sad that everything turned out like this. The decision that I made that my wife and I are leaving [our royal duties] was not easy for me, ”said Harry.
