Sociologists told about the main fears of Americans

Experts from Chapman University in California, they conducted a sociological survey across the country to find out which fears plagued Americans most during the 2017 year.
The experiment involved 1207 respondents from different states of the United States, the obligatory condition was the majority of respondents. Each was asked 80 potentially frightening factors and phenomena. Participants were asked to choose what frightens them more; one could choose several options.
It turned out that the greatest anxiety was associated with corruption (74%), as well as the possible consequences of health care reform (55%). Contamination of world and local water bodies scares 53% of respondents, and the potential poisoning of potable water is about 50%. The same number of residents of the United States fears to be left without financial resources, a little less - afraid of the overwhelming cost of medical services.
48% of the subjects are afraid of a world war and the nuclear threat of China, dangerous climate change on the planet. In the top ten fears, the last place was taken by the fear of air pollution. In the very final of the complete list, there was an invasion of zombies (5,4% - imagine how many people they are!), Ghosts (4,3%). But such a very real danger as aggressive animals scares only 3,7% of respondents.
