In her personal life, Lucienne was unhappy. In her student years, she became interested in the novice director Vladimir Khramov. Their relationship ended when Luciena went to the theater and met her new love, actor Alexander Kholodkov.
Relationship with the beautiful and talented Kholodkov did not bring her happiness. It was a passion that the whole theater was talking about. Lucienne agreed to a civil marriage. However, another woman remained in the life of her chosen one, People's Artist Vera Orlova. Kholodkov died suddenly in 1965. And Luciena, fleeing depression, finally officially married Valentin Kozlov, a theater colleague with whom she lived for 32 years until the actor's death.

Luciena Ivanovna was never able to become a mother, but in the films she performed this role as many as twelve times. And even if the mothers embodied by her on the screen are unlucky, limited, mired in everyday life and in personal problems, but they are sincere, real and loving.
The husband drank, the actress left the theater, was left without roles. In the theatrical environment, they began to gradually forget her. However, there were friends. Once she brought chocolate bunnies to her friend's grandchildren, she chatted all evening in the kitchen, and in the morning she quietly passed away - a blood clot came off. Luciena Ovchinnikova died in 1999, but her cheerful heroines with children's dimples on their cheeks are still smiling from the screen.
