When the American friends of our children hear the wife talking in Russian with her son and daughter, then they slowly ask them: why was your mother angry with you? Even if a Russian woman is a kind and intelligent person, like my wife, a loud, commanding voice is something absorbed in mothers milk ...

And if she is in a hurry somewhere, then she does not see people at all, she will sweep away everyone in her path. It also drives me: “Come on, move, that you sleep on the go ?!”
Coarseness. Even if the wife is right, she does not know how to convince herself of her innocence calmly, but presses, presses, threatens to write to higher instances. Even in cases where it’s enough to smile and politely ask. Once we were in Vegas on a show. A huge man was sitting in front of his wife and constantly spinning - now to the right, then to the left, then to turn around ... After some time, the wife suddenly kicked her foot on the back of this man's chair. He turned in amazement, and she told him: “Do you have a personal show or something ?!” He apologized and for the rest of the time sat quietly like a mouse. Russian table. She constantly speaks Russian in my presence, and sometimes it seems to me that she just does not notice me or forgets that I do not understand a word! While I have nothing against it, when she speaks Russian with children and parents, but when we call the guests at the house, among whom are a couple of Russians, the three of us go to the table in our own language, which the rest of the 10 guests do not understand, - just disrespect for the rest!
Footwear. The wife forces everyone to take off their shoes at the entrance - not only households, but also guests. But in America this is not accepted at all.
Complete dinners. The wife can spend the whole day washing the house and preparing 33 dishes for lunch and dinner. And the American will cut sandwiches on the weekend morning and go for a walk with her family, inviting a cleaning lady at this time.

And also creams, shampoos, conditioners, etc. If you see a couple at an American airport, where a man with a backpack behind his back rolls a cart with two huge suitcases, you should know that this is an American husband and all his things are on vacation behind his back in a backpack, and the suitcases belong Russian wife.
Garbage collection. My wife has a habit of collecting empty glass jars and gift boxes. She has five boxes of cans, and when I ask her why they are, she answers: they’ll come in handy on the farm! Mother-in-law said that in childhood my wife helped her to preserve for the winter - maybe this is the case?
American football. Despite national differences in upbringing, I put up with them because I love my wife. But the wife could respect our habits! Our two-year-old son understands American football, I take him with me to matches, and my wife does not care, and she does not even hide this! Never went with us! And American wives always come, and friends ask: where is your spouse, are you all right? Then I’m really sorry.
