In Darlington, South Carolina, the woman who gives birth and her baby died in a terrible car accident that killed five family members, eight more were injured.
28-year-old Chikari Douglas-Rouse headed to the hospital during bouts in a minibus, where 11 was with her. The driver lost control. At high speed, the minivan flew off the road and, turning over, found itself in a ditch. Pregnant and her unborn child died on the spottelling Mirror.
Among those killed were also small Douglas-Graham, 14-year-old Nakisha Rouse (relatives of the woman in labor) and 52-year-old Leonard Rouse, driver. None of the passengers was fastened - everyone was thrown out of the car.
“I still can't believe what I hear,” wrote one of her friends on the deceased’s Facebook.
The shocked mother of the deceased teenage girl says: “I can't express how you feel when you lose 5 close family members at the same time, including my child. I was just numb. "
Now one of the victims is in critical condition, two children survived because the airbags worked - all the injured were sent to the nearest hospitals. Traffic Patrol continues to investigate the case. This is the largest car accident in South Carolina over the past 20 years.
