6 August Ukrainian singer Svetlana Loboda released The video for the song Superstar, which in three days gathered almost 6 of millions of views and broke into YouTube trends.
However, the video outraged the Russian priest from the Blagoveshchensk diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church Svyatoslav Shevchenko, writes TJ.
The clergyman released a video in which he condemned the Honored Artist of Ukraine and called her video “a mockery of the Russians”. In his opinion, scenes with masturbation, same-sex kisses, caressing people of different ages, suicide and others "violate Russian law."
"Two guys in sun loungers kiss openly. Forgive me, I understand that the creators of this video wanted to be original, but in our country, in the Russian Federation, propaganda of homosexuality is prohibited, "Shevchenko said.
In this regard, the priest demanded that the Russian authorities immediately ban the new clip Loboda.
According to Shevchenko, he found out about the video by accident.
"I learned about the video from an outraged message from a friend: his eldest son is leaving his YouTube account. And so that he did not come across any vulgarity, the careful parent set up a filter to limit materials for adults. And what was his surprise when he saw a new clip of Loboda in the recommendations, ”the priest said.
Initially, Loboda’s video was marked “0 +”. It was later changed to "18 +".
