The suspect was tied up and beaten with sticks by several women after he was accused of child sexual abuse.
In a video allegedly filmed in India, three women surround a man, tie his hands behind his back and pull him across the ground on a long rope, beating him with sticks. As far as can be seen, the man does not resist, but simply lies under the blows.
The video ends with an image of a policeman speaking to a mob, while the alleged abuser lies on the ground, still tied up.
Details of the alleged rape are unknown.

Sexual violence continues to be a problem in India, where the number of registered rapes in the country is tens of thousands per year.
