Medical student from Florida, 22-year-old Ashvin Kalyandurg (Ashwin kalyandurg) passed at the hands of 5 kilometers and 100 meters in the hope of breaking the world record in this field. He writes about it Sun sentinel.
The previous record, exactly 5 kilometers, was set in 2002 year. Ashwin walked exactly 100 meters more than his predecessor. Guinness Book of Records experts are going to check all the data in the near future to establish the authenticity of the record.
For a record Kalyandurg prepared for two months. He regularly squeezed on his fingers, lifted weights, moved on his hands and climbed trees.
In order to get the required distance, it took Ashvin almost a 8 hours. After the goal was achieved and the hero fell to his feet, the first thing he said was:
"The whole body hurts."
In the course of his training, Ashvin Kalyandurg raised a considerable amount of money for several charitable foundations that treat children with serious congenital diseases.
Immediately after completing such a serious and debilitating walk, Ashvin went to prepare for the next exam in a medical school.
Kalyandurg is engaged in walking on hands not one year. There are photos where Ashvin not only walks on his hands, but even dances.
