A mall worker rescued a child who was forgotten in a hot car

38-year-old Claire Hewenfeld, the adoptive mother, left the 9-month-old baby in an extremely heated minivan in a parking lot near the shopping center.
The woman was arrested and charged with involving the child in a dangerous situation, according to the police department of Knoxville, Tennessee. Authorities wrote about the Facebook incident, tells Fox News.
The police received a call on Saturday evening. According to witnesses and the investigation showed, the woman left the nine-month-old baby wearing seat belts in the child seat completely alone, with the windows closed and the engine not working, in a large, dark minivan under the hot sun.
The casual witness noticed the child, immediately called 911 and called the employee of the shopping center, who brought a bottle of cold water and towels, after which both women ran to save the child. The car was not locked and they easily got inside.
The boy was given water to drink and wiped off with wet towels to cool him down - at this point the temperature outside was 90 degrees Fahrenheit (about 32 Celsius). The foster mother who returned to the car, as it turned out, completely forgot that she was taking the child with her to the store. The kid was taken away from the would-be mother by representatives of social services.
