Five must have items for kids I found in California

Looking back a little, I realized that I had a list of five must have-things for children that (things in the sense of) made my life in the first six months of motherhood simple and enjoyable. Today I want to share this list with you.
Baby changing table
While still pregnant, I heard opinions that it is quite possible to do without a changing table. Alternatively, use a chest of drawers. But even if there is no chest of drawers, then it is quite possible to change the podgus on the bed or sofa.
I, as a person who loves minimalism, was ready at least to try to live without a changing table. But Ruslan said that this is not an option and that we will have a table. I and my back to him for this decision are eternally grateful. When I have to change the diaper on the sofa in the living room, I can not straighten my back later!
Therefore, the changing table is my must have number one.
Bucket for diapers (it can be seen in the photo above)
This is another purchase on the initiative of Ruslan. In general, if you count, he chose and bought 95% of all that you need to have at birth of children. He chose, studied, searched for lucrative offers. Came to me already with a ready solution. Golden father!
So here is a bucket. I didn’t even know about the existence of this, until friends told us about it. Ruslan googled and, seeing this spacecraft, ordered. Probably more for fun. But in reality it turned out to be a very useful purchase.
First, it is aesthetically pleasing. Secondly, there are no smells. Someone told me that diapers do not smell in breastfed babies. Well, apparently we got some special assholes. Because diapers outside the bucket immediately gave a special charm to our apartment. Third, the bucket allows you to do less unnecessary movement. He took off the diaper and immediately threw it into the bucket.
In general, the next time we buy the same, without hesitation.
Lounges
We have two now. One was given away by acquaintances, the second was given by friends (I know that you are reading, thank you so much another hundred thousand times!). Shark they love them very much, and I love them even more, since my hands are not steel and sometimes I want to give them a break.
And the chaise lounge, which a la the chair on the left in the photo was very helpful at the very beginning, when both kids were to be rocked at the same time. Now we use it as a stool for the first feeding.
Jumpsuits
Shortly before the birth of the shark, we bought them a batch of clothes, which we faithfully served five months. We have already grown out of this batch of clothes and happily gave up everything.
By the way, before the birth of children, I was not bothered by bouts of irrepressible shopping for cute children's outfits. We just went to the site of children's clothing and placed an order there - bodysuits with short sleeves, long sleeves, overalls, and two sets of outerwear.
As a result, we only wore overalls in 95% of cases. It turns out that I slightly overestimated the local winter and the temperature in the apartment. So the bodysuits were worn only a couple of times, and we dragged the overalls almost to the holes. And these are very comfortable, in my opinion, clothes for this age (1-4 months). Now the sharks are already seven months old, but we still wear overalls both at home and on walks - and they remain the most comfortable clothing for me.
Turtle!
Not alive :))) Night light. One of Ruslan's colleagues at the shark birthday party gave us two lamps - in the form of a turtle and a frog. Very cool fixtures and it's great that they are different. The shell of the turtle is made into an asterisk, and thanks to a light bulb inside, it projects the starry sky onto the ceiling. And even with the moon.
The frog projects something abstract, similar to the movement of water. But the main thing is that it also makes sounds. There is white noise and the sound of waves with the cry of seagulls. Oh, this sound is my love, and I am ready to listen to it endlessly.
It turned out that the use of these lamps is amazingly romantic and allows not to turn on another light at night, which helps to protect the shark's sleep.
These are the must-haves. This list does not include such obvious things as a cot or a stroller. It is rather the things that do not come to mind first when making the list of dowry. But who personally serve me faithful service!
