A woman found a lost 13 wedding ring on grown carrots years ago. He writes about it with the BBC.
84 is a summer resident of Alberta in Canada, Mary Grams, who lost her golden wedding ring with diamonds 13 years ago. Not wanting to upset her husband, she did not tell him about the loss, but simply ordered a duplicate.
During the weed weeding around her house in September 2004, Mary Grams discovered that an expensive wedding ring had flown off her finger.
Attempts to find a valuable thing were unsuccessful and Mary decided not to report the loss to her husband, so as not to upset him. She only told her son about her loss. Therefore, she went and ordered exactly the same ring, but a little simpler and cheaper, which she wore on her finger for the last 13 years.
After the sad event, the Grams moved to another city, but the ownership of the farm remained with their relatives.
Ring discovered daughter-in-law Colin Daly, who now lives in the house, at harvest time.
The carrot sprouted through the ring, which turned out to be tightly worn on it, like on a finger. Delighted Colin showed the find to her spouse. He immediately recognized the jewel that belonged to his mother.
Mary Grams was very pleased with the discovery and even admitted that she regretted that her husband did not tell about the disappearance, who passed away 5 years ago. According to her, her husband had an excellent sense of humor, and he would have liked this story.
Mary is going to wear jewelry again, as she is still fit and reminds of her spouse.
